In our interview with 8th-place finisher Rebecca Fahringer, she noted the importance of taking every opportunity to learn from others during pre-ride.

The day before her victory, Brand took time to learn the course, pre-riding with Telenet-Baloise team manager and two time World Champion Sven Nys. She recorded the pre-ride on a GoPro and posted the 10-minute video on YouTube.

See Brand’s pre-ride below, where she and Nys test lines and prepare for racing the next day.

World Cup racing returns on Thursday at Heusden-Zolder. Check back here for results, reports and photos.
