It’s Saint Patrick’s Day, so it’s only appropriate to showcase some of the eye candy from Shamrock Cycles at NAHBS this past weekend.

While we were hoping for more of an Irish theme for the bike in honor of the day, the Norwegian color scheme designed for Yngvar Brynildssen’s viking sword-themed ride with the white Challenge Grifos is pretty slick as well. Tim O’Donnell, the man behind the Indiana-based brand, designed the bike to showcase Norwegian pride and be prepared for anything, from ’cross racing to gravel grinding to winter training with road tires. The stainless steel internally-routed frame used Llewellyn cast lugs and dropouts with Columbus Spirit lug pipes.

The bike took the win the in the special Campagnolo awards as the best Campy-equipped ’cross bike on display at the show, and like many of the ’cross bikes we’ve been seeing lately, it features a single ring in the front.
