The 2018/19 UCI calendar kicked off last weekend at the Melbourne Grand Prix of Cyclocross in Essendon Fields. The race was held at the Fields of Joy CX dedicated cyclocross park.

The international field included the Squid Squad, Japan's Miho Amai and a few riders from the Low Countries.

Sammi Runnels of the Squid Squad won both Women's races, and Corendon-Circus' Jens Dekker did the same in the Men's races. See our post with full results to see how all the riders fared.
