Jonathan Page had one of his strongest finishes this season with a top five finish at the Kasteelcross Zonnebeke in Belgium. After a roller coaster season that saw highs and lows for one of the top Americans in Europe, Page has proven that he is coming into peak form just in time for the World Championships in St. Wendel.

While a relatively small race – only 24 finishers in the results – the race included some class competition. Racers on hand inlcuded Rob Peeters, Sven Nys and Zdenek Stybar, each of whom weren’t likely to be holding back in one of the last races before the World Championships. Page’s fifth was well-earned and made more impressive in that he was less than a minute behind winner Peeters, and only 28 seconds behind Nys.
