To say the racing at Rochester Cyclocross was fast and furious would be a bit of an understatement. With C1 points on the line on Saturday and the Jingle Cross World Cup a week away, North America's best and some European guests threw down on the fast and at times, technical, course at Genesee Valley Park.

On Saturday, Vincent Baestaens (Group Hens - Maes Containers) withstood attacks from Stephen Hyde (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) before using "The Jungle" section to launch an attack of his own with two to go and holding off the chase to get the C1 win and points.

Sunday, it was Curtis White's (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) turn to launch a big attack of his own. After a somewhat disappointing result on Saturday, White went in Lap 5 and held his advantage to the line to take a memorable win.
