One of the questions coming into this weekend in Waterloo, Wisconsin is how well Katie Compton (KFC Racing / Trek / Panache) would bounce back from her tough crash at Jingle Cross. Compton quickly answered that question by getting off the front early with Sanne Cant (Beobank-Corendon) and then exploiting a mistake by the world champion to get her winning gap.
Loes Sels (Crelan-Charles) came on late in the race to take second and Christel Ferrier Bruneau (Sas-Macogep-Aquisio) celebrated her three-year old’s birthday on Wednesday with a third-place finish.
