The steep hills of Mt. Krumpit, the crowd and the warm conditions in Iowa City on Sunday made the Jingle Cross World Cup a great place for photographers to provide their perspective on the action. Local photographer Dave Mable brought his camera and joined the Cyclocross Magazine team for our World Cup coverage on Sunday. Mable has worked the event for Cyclocross Magazine in the past and was also a key member of our team at 2017 Nationals in Hartford.

Dave raced the Chequamegon 40 Fat Tire Festival in Cable, Wisconsin (on a tandem!) on Saturday and then drove seven hours on Sunday morning to be part of our team in Iowa City. Dave hit the ground running, nearly literally, and managed to catch part of the Doggie Cross and both cyclocross races, and he even found time to do post-race interviews.

We have a gallery of some of Dave's top shots from the Jingle Cross World Cup. Dave will be back with Cyclocross Magazine in Wisconsin, so stay tuned to see more of his work from the Trek CX Cup and World Cup Waterloo.

Stay tuned for more coverage of the 2017 Jingle Cross Festival in Iowa City
