Santa Cruz’s Winona Hubbard had a blast meeting other masters women at the National Championships in Kansas City and can’t wait for this year’s event in Bend to connect with others. To help facilitate other masters women getting together, she’s hosting a party in Bend. See press release below.

When I went to Kansas City last year, the only time I connected with other masters gals was mostly at the start line.  I thought, “these women are so cool, I wish I had more time to get to know them!”  I vowed there to do something about it.  CXing Barriers was born.

Are you a masters racer? Have you been the ONLY woman in a local race?  Have you been 10 years older than any other woman on a sports team?  Do you check your lipstick before the start?  Yes?  This party is for you!  Masters are tough ladies for whom sports aren’t a fad.  Being competitive and active aren’t things left behind at college graduation.  Career, family, life – don’t impede your dedication.  You’re willing to cross barriers.

Come play with your tribe at this fun and empowering event.  Eat yummy food.  Shop for cool women’s cycling items.  Win a raffle prize.  MEET WOMEN WHO LIKE TO TALK ABOUT BIKES!
