Age is just a number for the Masters Women who lined up for the fourth title race of the day at the 2021 USA Cyclocross National Championships.
Four titles were on the line with the Masters Women 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and the 80-84 races. There were no 75-79 racers, leaving the title unclaimed (call your grandmother!).
2018 National Champ Karen Tripp took another title in the same age group, winning the Masters Women 60-64 race.
Mary Geralts, 10th in 2018 in the 60-64 category, was golden in the 65-69 in DuPage County.
Martha Iverson took yet another title, winning the 70-74 race. We’ve been profiling her unique bikes along with unusual pedal and brake combos since 2010.
Frances Marquart, the winner of the 80-84 race, was back on top of the podium after winning the 75-79 title in 2018 in Reno.
