Sven Nys talks thinks the time is right for the biggest race to go overseas.

While the new schedule for Elite Worlds might be a point of contention, one thing the Belgians as a whole could agree on is the quality of the course. They’ve been overwhelmingly positive about it, and the most notable of the racers has been Sven Nys, along with Belgian team coach Rudy De Bie.

“I am very content,” Nys told Nieuwsblad.be. “I have some other things to my liking found,” he added, speaking about the technical features on the course.

Coach De Bie added his approval, telling Nieuwsblad, “I am pleasantly surprised. The trail was depicted as a Formula 1 circuit, but it is much harder and more technical than expected. This increases the chances for us Belgians. If the speed is high, go there anyway casualties. That is a statement with which I am very pleased as Belgian coach.”
