We love hearing news about ’cross fields maxing out their numbers, especially in the first few races of the season. So we’re happy to pass on this news that the Baltimore ’cross scene is hungry for mud! If you’re in the area, hurry to Bikereg and secure your spot before it’s too late!

As the Champion System MAC Cyclocross opens its season with the Nittany Lion Cross on September 11, organizers of next week’s Charm City Cyclocross UCI C2 double-header in Baltimore have confirmed that they have crossed the 1,000 entry threshold with nearly a week of pre-registration remaining. Always a popular race, the anticipation for this year’s two-day event is being raised even further because the Elite Classes on both Saturday and Sunday are the only UCI-sanctioned cyclocross races in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area this year.

Classes are selling out rapidly for the Charm City Cycloross. Three classes have already completely sold-out, and five other classes are within a dozen entries of filling their fields before the traditional last-week entry rush has even begun.
