USA Cycling has launched a new weekly web television series called This Week in American Cycling.

The program, produced by Cyclestream.tv, will recap road, mountain bike and cyclocross racing from across the U.S. each week.

With a TWIAC acronym that does not quite roll off the tongue like the long-running TWIB, U.S. bike racing announcers Dave Towle and Brad Sohner replace the iconic voice of Mel Allen as the show hosts.

In the first episode, the sharp-dressed men recap the Redlands Bicycle Classic, Joe Martin Stage Race and US Cup Vail Lake mountain bike race.

According to a release from USA Cycling, the TWIAC program will continue to expand with on-site race coverage, interviews and race previews and recaps.

Cyclestream.tv is a project of flimmaker Leah Sturgis that produced a stream of last month’s five-race Redlands Cycling Classic.
