Cyclocross on the big (or small) screen.

It’s always exciting seeing ’cross on TV, and AT&T is currently bringing cyclocross to the public, and in particular, their subscribers. Back at Nationals, the producers told us that they make shows highlighting lesser-known sports. This time, they’re looking to bring ’cross to a mainstream audience.

The 22 minute show looks at the three Elite races at Nationals—from U23 to Women to Men. It briefly explains the sport, including the roots, and shows the race highlights. We admit, we got goosebumps all over again watching the racers take the wins, and hearing announcer Richard Fries screaming into the mic.

The show will air online via web, tablet and mobile here for the next two weeks (3/7-3/20). It will also air repeatedly to any U-verse Cable TV subscribers for approximately the next three months on Channel 600 & 1600 in HD quality. Make sure you check it out and show your friends—the more views, the better the chances that we’ll see more coverage on these mainstream channels.
