The Junior and U23 women and men racing with USA Cycling and Cycling Canada this winter got the full Euro cyclocross experience on Sunday at World Cup Namur.

The course, challenging in a normal year, was particularly tough this year thanks to rain during the week and on race day, cold temperatures and challenging features added by the course designers for this year’s circuit.

Junior and U23 Women raced as part of the Elite Women’s race, and the Junior and U23 Men had separate races.

Photographer Bart Hazen braved the mud and weather to document the full day of racing at the Citadel of Namur. Check out the gallery below for shots of the Junior and U23 North Americans.
