It’s not just new bikes, but new products too at the 2016 Sea Otter Classic.

There’s everything from lightweight rims from Sapim sister-comany Ryde (formerly Rigida) to what KMC claims is the lightest, longest lasting chain available.

We also caught sight of Kool Stop’s new brake pads, which are said to offer better performance and cooling, as well as a cyclocross-oriented shoe from Mavic, with fewer lugs than a typical MTB offering. There are also new tools and pumps from Lezyne on show and coming to a bike shop near you.

Take a look at these new products in the slideshow, below. And stay tuned to our ever-expanding Sea Otter Classic coverage right here.

Light on the scale and prefer alloy rims? Ryde has something for you. Sapim's sister brand Ryde (formerly Rigida) makes lightweight rims. This asymmetrical Trace 22 rim caught our eye. 320g, 22mm internal width, 6082 alloy, tubeless, 90kg max rider weight. That makes it significantly lighter than most carbon rims. We're hoping to test a set. Sea Otter Classic 2016. © Cyclocross Magazine
