At Interbike today, 3T was more than happy to show Cyclocross Magazine their new cyclocross-specific goodies for the 2012 season. Specifically, we looked at the new 3T Ergoterra carbon handlebars and the carbon 3T Luteus disc brake cyclocross fork.

The Ergoterra carbon handlebars may have the same drop and bend as their predecessor, the Ergosum road handlebars, but these new bars have a few new noteworthy features. Unlike the Ergosum, this carbon handlebar is cyclocross brake lever compatible. Additionally, though the model is carbon fiber, weighing in at 192 grams, it’s been reinforced for strength and with the force cyclocross racers put on their levers in mind. The drops flare out by six degrees, making the 45 centimeter wide bars 42 centimeters at the hoods.

Currently, a Focus team based in Germany is using these handlebars, and 3T is hopeful that American elite racers will be using them shortly as well.

The 3T Ergoterra Pro Handlebars retail for $299.99 and is available in two models: 45 centimeters and 47 centimeters.

In addition to the handlebars, 3T was also showing off the newest addition to its cyclocross fork collection, the Luteus, as we reported on at Eurobike. Designed for disc brakes, the fully carbon fork has a channel built in for hydraulic cabling. Weighing in at only 470 grams, this fork is ready for the cyclocross course, now that disc brakes have been deemed UCI legal. Features also include a tapered steerer 1 1/8″ to 1 1/2″ and alloy-faced fork ends. Wide clearance rounds out the design for a disc brake fork that the 3T sales reps predict will be a big ticket item for racers in coming seasons.

The 3T Luteus fork retails for $559.99.
