Nicest kid as well, when I had a mechanical at states and no one to pit for me, he heard my yells, fixed my bike and stayed till the end of the race to look after me. Can’t say enough good things about him!

RE: A question we just had– fitness will for sure be a factor but this one’s gonna be a bike handler’s course for sure. Most folks I’ve talked to are running pretty low pressure (in the mid-20’s) – but some are pushing like 40+psi. How the heck can they get around the corners or up the darned steep hills? I sure as heck couldn’t do it!

Greg Talbert of Scott USA, who lives in Portland, was one of the strongest Northwest ‘cross riders in the mid-90’s. I’ve been racing against him a bunch in PDX this season, he’s got really good skills. Could help him overcome a poor starting position.
