Another Junior is working hard to get the funds to go to Worlds: Maxx Chance. Earlier this week, we posted a bit about the fundraiser for Austin Vincent and Cooper Willsey. Then, we looked into the USAC funding for Worlds and asked for your opinions. Whether you think that USAC should be funding the team or not, helping a young racer get to Europe is a worthy cause in our books!

You may remember Maxx Chance was one of the only racers other than Cody Kaiser to hop the stairs at Nationals, and he hopped his way to second place in the Junior 17-18 race behind Peter Goguen. He’s also no stranger to the Worlds team, and raced in Louisville last year.

From Maxx’s GoFundMe page:

“My name is Maxx Chance. I am a junior cyclocross racer born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I am a member of the Clif Bar Development Team. I was selected to compete in the World Championships again this year. This year they are in the Netherlands, and I would really appreciate your help to cover some of the costs.

Please help me if you can. I would really appreciate your support, every dollar helps!”

He’s only raising the exact amount needed for the trip, and you can help him out by donating here.
