October 2, 2009 – Conshohocken, PA, USA:  Entries for next weekend’s three-day, $27,000 Cincinnati UCI3 Cyclocross Festival have already set an all-time record, and online pre-registration doesn’t close until midnight on Tuesday evening.  So far, the race has drawn competitors from 23 states, Canada, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

Among the major stars who have already entered are Katie “KfC” Compton, Jeremy “J-Pow!” Powers, Laura Van Gilder and Dee Dee Winfield from “the dark side” of the powerful C3/Athletes Serving Athletes team, and the Twin Towers of defending U.S. Champion Ryan “the Tree Farm” Trebon and Barry Wicks.

Pre-registration closes on midnight of Tuesday evening on BikeReg.com.  The Cincinnati UCI3 Cyclocross Festival features three days of UCI and amateur cyclocross, one of the most beautiful cyclocross venues in the world (Friday’s Devou Park), government support, a hometown heros public servant races, kids races, swap meet, bar crawl and indoor “Gold Sprints” roller races in a local beverage-serving establishment.  The weekend begins with a welcome reception with free drinks at the roof-top rotating restaurant of Covington Kentucky’s Radisson  Riverfront Hotel overlooking downtown Cincinnati.
