At the end of the summer, Robert “The Beard” Marion had his cyclocross season unfortunately ended up when he dislocated his knee while mountain biking. Despite the injury, Marion has been a regular at his American Classic team trailer and wheeling around UCI races on his scooter.
We chatted with Marion about his recovery Friday night during the Derby City Cup pre-ride. Marion talked about getting healthy, dealing with setbacks and how the injury has perhaps brought a touch of gray to the famed ginger beard.
