Surly Bikes has just announced a safety issue with its 8-Pack and 24-Pack front racks and warns consumers to stop using them immediately.
The racks can come loose, hit the front wheel and cause a crash.
Owner of the Surly 8-Pack Rack should stop using them immediately.
While the company does not yet have a fix or replacement, it advises removing them immediately and awaiting further instruction through the company’s blog, social media or email.
