The promoters of USA Cycling’s Cyclocross National Championships have had to change the venue of this year’s championships from last year’s location. But the course doesn’t have to be a complete surprise. Like last year, they’re hosting hosting a race to preview the course to be used during the championship weekend. Test out your legs and equipment on the course in race conditions – just don’t expect the weather to be the same! Press release below from KLM Marketing:

Now is your chance to pre-ride the 2008 USA Cycling National Cyclocross Championship Course! Just as we did in 2007, we want to give riders a chance to pre-race the course. Mark your calendar for November 1st! Boss Cross will play host to the event at Tiffany Springs Park located in Kansas City, Missouri. We are very excited to preview our new venue. The course is going to offer a wide range of challenges start to finish. Tiffany Springs Park is a perfect Cyclocross venue. You can challenge yourself with some climbing, double track, fast flat sections and many off camber sections. Mother Nature will dictate how different the course is in December though!!! Attached you will find the event flyer for the November 1st event. We will have the course map posted at www.kccrossnationals.com by Friday, October 17th. See you when it’s cold!!!
