Get Your Bid On – Nearly NOS Green Michelin Mud Cyclocross Tires Auction Ending Soon
August 31st, 2009 Filed Under cyclocross news
At 12:42 PST today, a nearly NOS pair of Green Michelin Mud cyclocross tires will change owners via eBay. These tires feature the more durable coated sidewalls, as opposed to the original skinwalls. Past auctions have netted prices over $100 for just one tire. What will this pair from Ohio go for? Will you be the lucky owner of these coveted tires?
Die-hard Michelin Mud fans have been known to buy such tires, only to have them cut up and have the treads glued to tubular casings. FMB and Dugast offer such services. But if that sounds like too much trouble and expense for a green tread, you can always lend your name to the semi-formal poll/petition to Michelin in our forums to bring back the legendary tire.
