People for Bikes announced yesterday, “We have a fun project in the works for this fall and we need your help. Submit your funniest, wittiest, most creative cyclocross heckle below. Our favorite heckle will win a full 2013 PeopleForBikes kit from Primal. The best of the rest will be immortalized in a super fun project.” The reason for the project is the collaboration that People for Bikes is holding with bike-friendly web developer Quick Left: Bikes & Bytes: National Bike Month Hackfest.

The “super fun project” is actually a heckle-generation app. People for Bikes Marketing Manager Kate Powlinson says she’s hoping to build a cyclocross-themed iPhone app that generates random quality heckles to enhance spectating. “Tap a button and boom: you have a Grade A heckle ready to go. No more struggling through a cross-gut- and Old Chub-induced fog to come up with something clever. We might even be able to filter by course location (barriers, run-up, etc) and condition (mud, snow, etc).”

Write in your heckles here. You may enter as many times as you like, and the best heckle wins a 2013 PeopleForBikes kit from Primal.
