To celebrate the birthday of America’s Queen of Cyclocross, Katie Compton, we wanted to share Shimano’s footage of her ride at Milton Keynes. Not only did Compton have a brilliant start, but from the point of view from the footage, you can see how many American women were at the front of the race, including Crystal Anthony, Meredith Miller, and Rachel Llyod.

Miller does a great job keeping up with Compton even though she is running, and Llyod does well avoiding the collapsing field in the second off-camber. Of course, Mark Legg-Compton does a great job keeping the cameras clean after the bike makes its rounds to the pit area.

Enjoy!
