We’re still digging out from all of our 2016 Cyclocross World Championship coverage from Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. Today we’re brining you this video interview of Helen Wyman who graciously spoke with Cyclocross Magazine’s Christine Vardaros the day after the Elite Women’s World Championship race.

Wyamn told us about her ride at Worlds and some of the course’s more challenging features, the new Baby Limus from Challenge and about what the rest of her season looks like:

About the sandy run-up to sometimes-ride-up feature on the Zolder course:

I thought I was going to make it up [riding]…. You run up the wall, then you turn and you run up a bit more, and then jump on and accelerate to go up the hill. It’s just that effort, after effort, after effort that can really hurt.

On the new Baby Limus tire from Challenge:

It’s slightly different to what we have now. It’s incredibly grippy. It’s incredibly fast. It’s less resistance than the full Limus and more grip than the Grifo.
