    Niels Albert (Belgium) celebrates his victory in the Elite men's race at the 2009 UCI Cyclocross World Championships.

    In a historic display of dominance, the Belgian team took the top seven spots today at the 2012 Cyclocross World Championships in Koksijde, led by an incredible solo victory by Niels Albert. Defending champion Zdenek Stybar – nor any other rider– had no response for a Belgian team, racing on Belgian soil, bearing the weight of a country demanding they regain the crown as the world center of cyclocross. From the first lap, the Belgian Juggernaut completely owned the race, with Czechs Zdenek Stybar and Radomir Simunek quickly strangled out of the front group.

    64 men from 19 countries will line up for the 2012 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Koksijde, Belgium. The men will be called up by UCI rank, with World Cup Winner Kevin Pauwels leading the pack.     39 women from 17 countries will line up for the 2012 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Koksijde, Belgium. The women will be called up by UCI rank, with Marianne Vos leading the pack, coming into today with 15 straight wins, followed by American Katie Compton. Read the race preview here.
