This season was a banner year for cyclocross costume races—between an anatomically-correct giraffe at Oregon’s Cross Crusade, and a Stormtrooper towing his boss on a trail-a-bike at Surf City CX—costume ‘cross creativity was through the roof, no matter what region the racing occurred.

Today we bring you a clip of the king of the dinosaurs taking to the course at Sacramento Cyclocross’ Halloween race.

T-rex—or Kyle Hamilton if you’re wondering about the man in the suit—piloted his Specialized Crux through the course cleanly, leading us to believe that, although T-rexes have stumpy arms, he may have read our Technique Tuesday article about how to carry your bike correctly.
