Stanley Sponsors New Seattle-based ’Cross Team

Stanley brought America the legendary vacuum bottle a hundred years ago and StarCrossed to the world this year, and is now backing a new team of 18 local bike racers. To celebrate, Team Stanley is hosting a party for the ’cross community and friends Wednesday, September 15 from 5:30-10:00pm at the Jolly Roger Taproom in Seattle (Maritime Pacific Brewing Co., 1111 NW. Ballard Way, 98107). Happy hour specials are on tap until 6:30, PLUS we’ll give away free Stanley product to the first guests! Come by after work or after your ’cross workout for some great beer and bike chat.

The core values of Team Stanley are teamwork, community stewardship, healthy lifestyle choices and competitive cycling. We are a tightly-knit group of dedicated cyclists focused on the integrity and positive perception of racing and commuting by bicycle. We are backed by Stanley, a brand of PMI, 333Fab bikes, Shimano PRO components, Michelin tires, Beljum Budder and local bike shop Second Ascent. In addition to a motivated ’cross team, Team Stanley will field a Cat 3 and Masters road team, an Expert mountain bike team and a Track team.

Beyond our love for cycling, we are actively involved in our community and the outdoor industry. We are vocal about growing and developing our local cycling community. We will be active in running local races and promoting bicycle and commuter awareness.

For our roster and other info, check out Team Stanley’s website, www.pain-cave-productions.com, or find us on Facebook. See you at the Jolly Roger and on the bike!
