A Bicycle Party: Seattle International Bicycle Expo This Weekend
Pacific Northwest bike geeks have reason to celebrate this weekend, as Group Health’s Seattle International Bicycle Expo takes over Cruise Terminal 30 in Seattle. It’s described as “a complete celebration of cycling, with exhibits and presentations from all aspects of the sport.” Sounds fun to us. Portland gets the NAHBS, and then Seattle gets this cool event. Is anyone else outside of the Northwest feeling left out?
‘Cross fans can hear national champion Katie Compton speak at 3:00 on Saturday on the main stage as part of the Elite Bicycling Panel, and at around 4:15 she’ll speak about training for cyclocross. Bring your Issue 1 with our interview of her and snag an autograph!
You can learn more about the March 8-9th event at the Cascade Bicycle Club’s Expo website. We even bribed the ‘cross fans at Cascade Bicycle Studio (booth 172) to sell a few copies of our Issue 2 there. So pay them a visit to pick up one if you’re not a subscriber yet, or if you’re as impatient as we are with the USPS.
Have you subscribed yet? You're missing out if not. Get all-original content and your cyclocross fix throughout the year with a subscription and Issue 23 back copy, with features on Lars van der Haar, Jonathan Page, Elle Anderson and more!
