It was a wet day down in North Carolina for the Grand Prix today, but that didn’t stop big names like Jeremy Powers and Tim Johnson from heading south to contend the last weekend of USA Cycling’s US Pro CX racing. It was Jeremy Powers who took the win in the mud, nearly a minute ahead of Johnson, who took second place followed by Troy Wells in third. The women’s field was smaller and more local, with Jessica Cutler taking the win, followed by Allison Arensman and Ally Stacher. Top contenders for the US Pro CX series Elle Anderson and Katerina Nash were not in attendance.
