Cyclocross Magazine came to Madison’s 2012 Cyclocross National Championships and worked hard to bring you coverage of every single race at the event, the only media company to accomplish such a feat. Most times we brought you some great photos and video interviews as well, but for a few races on the packed days, we still have a bunch of unpublished great photos of the racing action and some key moments. The Masters 40-44 race deserves more photo coverage, as it was not only a tactical battle at the front as Adam Myerson (Mock Orange Bikes / SmartStop p/b Ridley) battled Boulder Cycle Sport teammates Brandon Dwight and Pete Webber, but also a crash-fest with thick muddy and slippery ruts.

Check out the two photo galleries below to relive the Masters racing in one of the largest fields of the weekend. We’ve chosen some of our favorite photos that capture the key moments and essence of the race. See the full report and video interviews of the Masters 40-44 race here.
