Colorado Springs, Colo. (November 30, 2009) – The USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships are quickly approaching and online registration is set to close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, December 3.

Online registration for this event is currently in the late online registration period, meaning that in addition to the original registration fee, late fees will be incurred for all events. The late fees are $15 for junior and collegiate racers and $25 for racers in all other categories.

After the close of online registration on December 3, riders will still have the option to register on-site. However, riders registering on site will receive a start spot in the back of their respective fields, regardless of license category, with the exception of front row call-ups per USA Cycling’s rule book. Please click here for a complete explanation of call-up procedures for all age categories and racing divisions. To ensure the optimal start position, riders are encouraged to register online before December 3.

The USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Championships are slated for December 10-13 in Bend, Ore. Click here for more information on the event’s web page.

USA Cycling’s 2010 racing licenses go on sale Tuesday, December 1. Click here to buy your license.
