The racing may have been OBRA-sanctioned, not USA Cycling-sanctioned—as all Cross Crusade races are—but that and heavy snowfall didn’t stop top level pros from showing up in various states of costume to contend in the last of the season’s races.

Geoff Kabush, registered and racing as Miguel Indurain (in an outfit to match), took the win ahead of Carl Decker and Troy Wells. His win wasn’t enough to bump Carl Decker off of the top step of the podium for the overall season win though, since Decker has been blazing through the season, racking up win after win.

In the women’s race, Katerina Nash doubled up after her C1 win on Saturday, followed by “KK” (Kaitie Antonneau) and Elle Anderson. Bend local and Cross Crusade regular Serena Bishop-Gordon took fourth.

Elite racers unused to the racing in Oregon may have been confused by the setup, since the Elite men and women are racing on course together.
