The paper, quick to note Page’s 2007 Cyclocross World Championship performance as a way to remind local readers of the American’s place in cycling, recounted his exploits in the mud at Domenico Savio Park in Hooglede-Gits, Belgium. And the publication pointed out that Page “is still obsessed with cycling and his love for Belgium is not cooled. The now 39-year-old Page is regularly found near Oudenaarde and is still active in Belgian and Dutch races.”

Reporting that Page messaged the race’s organizer “Edwald Martijn to register for the Philippine Tour,” he’ll start the event with tomorrow’s  80 kilometer stage.
