After the Cincy3 Cyclo-Stampede, there was a reception in Milford, Ohio, for Raleigh Team members Jonny Sundt, Craig Etheridge, Jenni Gaertner and Sean Burkey from Raleigh USA. The reception was hosted by Bishops Bicycles, and with the support of Raleigh USA, a number of local Bishops Cycling Team members and customers got to demo new Raleigh bicycles and actively race during the weekend.

Kelly Sullivan, from Bishop’s Bicycles, told us:

“We have had a terrific weekend with the team including lots of racing and cheering as well as a group ride yesterday afternoon, Craig Etheridge volunteered his time last evening with local cub scouts (Sean Burkey, my Raleigh sales rep also participated) and we also hosted a reception for the Raleigh team and our club cyclists at the local pub.  Dion was gracious enough to shoot some photos of the reception.”

He added: “Having a national professional cycling team visit our community helps all of us by adding credibility to the brands we represent, boosting parts and accessories sales as well as increasing participation in local races.  Regardless of whether you are an elite amateur cyclist or a cycling enthusiast who may be participating in his or her first local charity event, the sport of cyclocross racing is alive and flourishing in Southwest Ohio.”

Check out some of the great photos from VeloVivid of the reception, and stay tuned for an interview with Johnny Sundt, AKA “The Cat.”
