Sometimes a race plays out just as expected, with riders separated by seconds or minutes, and no late-race surprises. But just as often the difference between gold and silver comes down to a single moment, a single choice, a single surge of power. In the Women’s 40-44 race, Wendy Williams overtook Gina Hall in the final moments of the race, on the stair section one turn away from the finishing stretch. CXM contributor Kenton Berg caught the moment on camera.
