Nov. 11, 2014 – Boulder, CO – Noosa Professional Cyclocross Team is excited to announce the signing of Eco-Products as its newest sponsor. The partnership with the Boulder-based, eco-friendly company is a welcome addition to the team as its two riders, Allen Krughoff and Meredith Miller, enter the second half of the 2014-2015 season.

“After the first round of racing, Eco-Products reached out to us to talk about partnering with our team for the remainder of the season,” said Noosa CX Co-Owner Allen Krughoff. “We had our initial conversation during our east coast block of racing. During a follow-up meeting in Boulder, we were able to nail down the details of the partnership. The partnership will see us through the next round of racing, which includes a two week trip to Europe.”

“Eco-Products is excited to be adding to our cycling footprint with the Noosa CX Team,” said Paul Rahn, Digital Marketing Manager for Eco-Products. “Allen and Meredith embody our core values and are driven to grow the sport. Overall it was a pretty easy decision to come on board. Allen and Meredith were eating Noosa Yoghurt with their fingers, now they have green spoons and napkins.”

The partnership with Eco-Products is a complimentary one as it joins like-minded, earth conscious companies Noosa Yoghurt and Whole Foods Market. Noosa CX will utilize Eco-Products compostable items during their Whole Foods Market Pre-rides and Noosa Yoghurt sampling events as well as have a van stocked with compostable products for every day use while traveling across the country.

“Quite often while we are traveling, we are searching for that spoon or fork to eat our lunch in a hotel room,” said Noosa CX Co-Owner Meredith Miller. “Problem solved. And, the best part is that it’s a green solution! Living in an eco-friendly town like Boulder, it is easy to be earth conscious with the hardcore recycling and compostable programs in place. Allen and I are excited that we can take some of those values with us on the road.”

Eco-Products joins an exciting list of Noosa Professional Cyclocross Team sponsors for the 2014/15 cyclocross season that include: Noosa Yoghurt, Focus Bikes, Enve Composites, Whole Foods Market, Castelli Cycling Apparel, SRAM, Clement Tires, Kidder+ Real Estate, Victory Circle Graphix, Feedback Sports, The Feed, Pedro’s, Rick Backer Insurance, Kinetic, Fizik, Giro, Enduro Bearings and Rockymounts.
