Portland’s Cross Crusade cyclocross series, in its last year with director (and 2009 and 2010 Nationals promoter) Brad Ross at the helm, continues to draw out big numbers and is arguably the world’s largest cyclocross series.

Racing at Portland International Raceway (PIR) has been a long tradition, and in years past the OBRA-sanctioned racing was combined with UCI racing at the highest level in the form of the now-defunct USGP national series.

With or without the country’s top pros, the in-Portland location draws out racers, fans, and plenty of Portland cyclocross spirit. Last weekend’s racing and shenanigans were all captured incredibly well by this video from River City Bicycles, seen above.
