Gore Windstopper Socks

The Alaska Windstopper Sock from Gore is perfect for cyclocrossers: it offers the same amount of warmth as a basic windproof shoecover, but since it goes inside the shoes, it is just right for racing. We tested it out in 20 degree conditions at NBX in Warwick, Rhode Island, earlier this month and were pleasantly surprised to find that they lived up to the hype — and even happier when they held up in the washing machine so we could use them again the next day! Great for chilly winter rides and even better for racers heading to Nationals, these make a great gift. One note: they are tightly fit at the ankles, so can be a tiny struggle to put on. We’ll be doing more reviews of some of the other Gore products like their Windstopper baselayer in the near future, so stay tuned.

MSRP $49.99
