SOUTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS – New and veteran racers alike were excited to see a new addition to Adam Myerson’s Cycle-Smart Cyclocross Camp when freshly minted Rapha-Focus racer Gabby Day (look for the official team announcement on Friday) showed up to help herd new riders around the trickier bits of the course. Myerson was joined by a host of Cycle-Smart coaches, and the weekend-long clinic had riders practicing everything from starts to corners to barriers, with a new addition of a sand dune section that showed riders the right (and wrong) way to take a sandy section in a race. Stay tuned for a video featuring coach Alec Donahue talking about starts in races coming soon, and for now, check out the gallery of newbie riders learning the ropes.
