Boston, Massachusetts—With cyclo-cross season close at hand, Cycle-Smart President Adam Myerson is opening up the doors to the Cycle-Smart’s grassroots cyclo-cross team. All of Adam’s personal cyclo-cross sponsors are on board to back the amateur program.

For years Cycle-Smart has been an asset to aspiring cyclists’ training goals and racing preparation. The company has long been involved with the management of professional and amateur teams. Adam and his colleagues are now bringing that expertise to the grassroots level this fall.

The Cycle-Smart Grassroots Team’s mission is to provide riders who do not have a local club the opportunity to come together as a team and receive excellent pro-deal benefits, and access to the most knowledgeable cyclo-cross coaches in the country. The club is open to all riders with any level of previous experience or ability. Any rider, regardless of their location can join the club and be part of the project.

Club riders are eligible for discounts and deals from suppliers such as Van Dessel Sports, Lazer Helmets, Challenge Tires, Williams Wheels, Crank Brothers pedals, TRP Brakes, with other partners to be confirmed in the coming weeks. All club members will have access to discounts on coaching, camps, and clinics from Cycle-Smart.

Deadline for membership is July 15th. Members will be required to make Cycle-Smart their official USAC club and must wear their Cycle-Smart kit at all cycling events.
