The Prunedale race was filled with both current and former National Champions and former Masters World Champions, but not only champions but weekend warriors as well had to battle a challenging, barrier-less course that offered up a very steep run-up, a course gravel descent, a tough pavement climb, and a dose of off-camber corners.
