Announcing Pain And Suffer’n Cyclocross

Kick-start your cyclocross season with this breathtaking race near the top of Bald Peak. This course is a great way to improve your cycling skills, as well as racing for some great prizes! 360 degrees of stunning views abound.  One of the tougher races of the cyclocross season, it has been called the “dust bowl” instead of the “mud bowl”. The “powdered sugar” dust creates it’s own set of challenges, getting into every nook and cranny. When combined with blood, sweat and tears, it creates it’s own brand of fun. So, are you up for the challenge?

In 2008, a local area dentist allowed use of his Bald Peak property for cyclocross racing. He asks, “What can I do to inflict pain and suffering on weekends?” This was his answer! Let’s inflict some “Pain and Suffer’n” with some fast and furious bicycle racing.Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or professional rider, you will find our courses a “ton-o-fun”. Youth riders are welcome for their own events, but no whining allowed!

Endorsed and scored by OBRA, these races are well planned and meant to stimulate your pain centers. If you don’t feel the burn, then pull to the side and let other riders pass you, as you cry out, “I’m not worthy!”

If you wish to come out and watch agony in action, please feel free to visit our many sponsor booths and presenter Sunset Cycles.
