The Amgen Tour of California is at an end, and so is our cyclocross-style competition within the competition. The actual winner of the Amgen Tour of California was Chris Horner, who is definitely deserving of an honorable mention among our cyclocrossers in the Tour.

Our cyclocross-style winner was Chris Jones, who finished the race in 32nd overall. He also finished Stage 8 in 18th place. His team, UnitedHealthcare, finished fifth in the overall team standings.

Jeremy Powers, early in the day on Sunday, tweeted, “Last day at the tour of Cali, legs are feeling much better then when I started. Looking forward to a good day today! See you guys out there.” He must have been right, because he finished 45th in the stage, bumping his overall standings up a few spots.

Andy Jacques-Maynes finished 111th overall, but in the Overall Sprint Standings, he finished in 27th. Additionally, his team (Bissell) finished as the 10th overall team.

As of the end of the final stage, overall results for Cyclocross Magazine’s Amgen Tour of California Cyclocross Leader’s Jersey are as follows:

32 Chris Jones (UnitedHealthcare)
40 Tyler Wren (Jamis-Sutter Home)
55 Alex Candelario (Kelly Benefit Strategies-Optum Health)
92 Jeremy Powers (Jelly Belly)
102 Jamey Driscoll (Jamis-Sutter Home)
111 Andy Jacques-Maynes (Bissell)
