One of the biggest weekends on the domestic cyclocross calendar is coming to the Ohio Valley the weekend of October 26 and 27.

The 2019 Kings CX in Cincinnati will offer two days of amateur racing and the final C1 UCI race on the North American calendar. Held at Kingswood Park in Mason, OH, the race is certain to provide star-studded professional racing and fun and challenging course for racers of all abilities and ages.

Amateur and professional racing takes place both Saturday and Sunday on a course that features a mix of fast, flowy sections with technical features to challenge riders of all abilities. Click here for the weekend schedule.

With the event taking place in the home of the famed OVCX series, the weekend will also feature impressive Junior fields that include a UCI category for Junior 17-18 Men and a separate podium for Junior 17-18 women racing in the Elite Women’s race.

For those looking to make a weekend of it, the race will be offering a Kick-Off Party on Friday night, and the Queen City has plenty of breweries, restaurants and diners offering the regional delicacy of Skyline Chili.

Friday Kick-Off Party

The course will be open for pre-ride from 2 to 6 p.m. EDT on Friday, October 25 for all registered riders to dial in their racing lines.

Following pre-ride, Cincinnati MINI (6131 Stewart Ave., Suite 2, Cincinnati) will be hosting a Kick-Off Party beginning at 5:30 p.m. Riders can meet the pros, chat with each other and maybe ogle the fun toys Cincinnati MINI has on display.

The event will also feature a 7 p.m. screening of the film “Unknown Country” about Jake Wells’ preparation to take on the 350-mile DKXL gravel race. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and all proceeds go to support Lionhearts Junior Racing.

Attendees will have another opportunity to support Lionhearts Junior Racing via a raffle to win a Trek cyclocross bike and other prizes.

Finally, Doug and Jon from The Gravel Lot podcast will be hosting a live show with Raylyn Nuss and other pros. Come listen in and bring your questions.
