Belgian Quentin Hermans edged out countryman Eli Iserbyt by just three seconds to win the final World Cup round for the 2015/2016 season.

Coming in behind them, Frenchman Clement Russo was third, with Daan Soete of Belgium in fourth and Russo’s compatriot Yan Gras rounding out the podium.

American Logan Owen, fresh off his first crack at the Elite Men’s National Championships back home, rode inside the top 10 and finished the day in eighth place. Owen’s teammate Andrew Dillman came in in 16th, while reigning American U23 National Champion Tobin Oretnblad was 30th and Scott Smith was 41st for Team USA.
Nicolas Barnes of Great Britain was 36th while Isaac Niles and Trevor O’Donnell were 48th and 49th for Canada, respectively. Christopher Aiken of Australia was 40th with his countryman Nicholas Smith in 50th.
The U23 Men will take on the Zolder course for the World Championship title next weekend.
