The Hoogerheide World Championship course has changed from the 2009 course. It’s 3.34km long with less pavement. Racer’s don’t go through town anymore.

Here’s a preview/pre-ride video of the 2014 Cyclocross World Championship 3.338km course, complete with course map and a pre-ride handlebar camera view (at accelerated speeds). Two rideable flyovers, but no barriers, in true Adri van der Poel style.

Barriers are what keep the fans off the course. This course certainly has barriers. Planks are the obstacles you must be referring to. ;) #euro

you only 'need' barriers if there are no natural obstacles that force dismounts. now that so many riders hop them, i don't think they're as important as before.
