Brothers Laurens and Diether Sweeck of team Corendon-Kwadro took control of the 2014 Bpost Bank Trofee Azencross Loenhout race. The two finished 11 seconds apart on the famous Christmas Week event in Belgium. Toon Aerts finished another twelve seconds in arrears.
The top ten were all Belgians.
A strong American contingent contested the event, and Americans Curtis White (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) and Andrew Dillman (Cyclocross Network Racing) led home the group, finishing in 17th and 18th, just over five minutes back.
Tobin Ortenblad (Cal Giant) finished on the lead lap in 26th. Sam O’Keefe (3 – Twenty20 Cycling Co.) finished 28th and and Liam Earl (BYRDS) in 31st.
