Taramarcaz Gets Swiss Win, Heule 3rd; Achermann Takes Women’s Jersey

Julien Taramarcaz (Sunweb-Revor) beat Simon Zahner (Française Des Jeux) by just 10 seconds to take the Swiss Cyclcoross National Championship in Beromünste. Cannondale-Cyclocrossworld rider Christian Heule, the defending champion, finished third, 26 seconds behind the winner.

In the women’s race, Jasmin Achermann successfully defended her 2011 champion’s jersey with a win over Katrin Leumann, who finished 1:37 behind the winner for silver. Lise-Marie Henzelin crossed the line third to get the bronze, 2:27 behind Achermann.
